WW2 German General Visor Cap – Early 1st Type EREL . HG1503

$10,000.00

WW2 German Army (Heer) General’s Visor Cap. Early 1st type General’s visor cap with the silver color visor insignia. Nice early bullion eagle and wreath. This one does not have the vented center cockade. Marker marked EREL Sonderklasse in sweat shield. Also, marked EREL Stirnschutz Patent on sweatband as well. Gold chincord and gold mesh pipping with nice toning. Nice shape and would display very well. Very hard to find visor, these just do not come on the open market very often.

Additional Notes: The term “EREL Sonderklasse” refers to a line of high-quality military visor caps produced by the Robert Lubstein company, commonly known by its brand name EREL. These caps were made during WW2 for the German military, including the Heer (Army), Luftwaffe (Air Force), and other branches. The “Sonderklasse” designation indicates a premium quality level, featuring superior materials and craftsmanship. For example, the Heer General Visor Cap by EREL was typically made from fine doeskin wool and includes gold piping, a braided gold wire chin cord, and a Vulcan fiber visor. These caps are highly sought after by collectors due to their historical significance and exceptional quality.
