ADDITIONAL NOTE: The Royal Corps of Transport (RCT) was a British Army Corps established in 1965 to manage the transportation of personnel and materials for the Army and wider defense forces. It was formed by merging the transport elements of the Royal Army Service Corps (RASC) and the movement control and transportation elements of the Royal Engineers (RE). The RCT played a vital role in various operations, including the Aden Emergency, Northern Ireland, and the Falklands War. In 1993, the RCT was amalgamated into the Royal Logistic Corps (RLC) along with several other corps.
