French St. Etienne Flintlock Musket dated 1822 Modified/Altered to a Percussion. White lacquered type should strap. Appears to be marked on lock plate: M. R. (Manufre Royale) de St. Etienne. Numbered on stock appear to be: 1805 2580. Also, numbered on butt plate. Dated 1822 on top area. Approximately 56 inches in length. Very worn condition.
