REPRODUCTION: WW2 German GAB 25 RK . REPO4017cxb

$180.00

Reproduction WW2 German Numbered 25 General Assault Badge. This is a reproduction badge. Marked RK on back. This one comes close to originals on front other than small details like bayonet blade and number box. The back also does a decent job in copying, however, off a bit on pin assembly and rivets. Worn condition.

Reproduction badge.

Additional Notes: The WW2 German General Assault Badge (Allgemeines Sturmabzeichen) was a military badge awarded during WW2 to personnel of the German Army and Waffen-SS who supported infantry attacks but were not part of specific infantry units. It was instituted by General Walther von Brauchitsch in June of 1940. The badge itself is an oval disk featuring a wreath of oak leaves, a Wehrmacht eagle clutching a swastika, and a crossed bayonet and stick grenade. There were special grades introduced in 1943, including the 25th grade, which recognized soldiers who participated in numerous attacks.
