WW2 German Luftwaffe 1st Model Dagger – FW Holler . D948

WW2 German 1st Model Luftwaffe dagger (Fliegerdolch). Marker marked on the blade with the marker logo for FW Holler Solingen. The plated blade in worn condition. The blade still has the original pebbled blue leather washer. Nickel/Silver alloy plated fittings (cross guard and pommel) on dagger with some corrosion, however, overall, in decent condition. The wood core grip with dark blue leather wrap with some wear and scuffs. The twisted aluminum grip wire is in decent condition. The scabbard has dark blue leather and is in average worn condition with some areas of repair or touch ups. The scabbard chain hanger is also marked DRGM A on clip portion, however, the clip is broken. Approximately 12 1/8 inch blade. Overall, a worn condition Luftwaffe dagger.
