American Civil War Army of the Potomac Medal that appears to been converted to a broach. The enamel shows damage where original center was which appears to be replaced with a mini-pearly type design. Converted to a pin back version. The Potomac Medal was awarded to veterans of the Army of the Potomac through the Union Veterans Society.

The Society of the Army of the Potomac was a military society founded in 1869 which was composed of officers and enlisted men who served with the Army of the Potomac during the American Civil War.
