United States M1851 Navy Colt 4th Model. Serial number (99667) places this as an early 1861 production and I am told that this one was also out of Loudoun County VA. All matching numbers, average worn and used condition. Mechanisms seem to work fine. Single line: Address Samuel L. Colt Hartford Ct on top of barrel. Overall, a nice early example of a highly sought after Civil War use Navy Colt and possibly southern use as well. Very heavily worn condition.
