SOLDmm WW2 German 2nd Model RLB EM Dagger w/Hanger – Kroneck . D945

WW2 German RLB (Reichsluftschutzbund) 2nd Model EM (Enlisted Man) Dagger. Attached small leather hanger in very heavily worn condition and is quite delicate, however, still there, which is typically missing on these as they were delicate. Painted scabbard with a lot of heavy wear to paint and much wear and corrosion to the scabbard fittings. Blade also with a lot of heavy wear, graying, scratches, and heavy corrosion and spotting. Blade has the marker logo for Ernst Erich Witte (Kroneck) Solingen. Dagger blade still has leather washer. Overall, decent condition cross guard and hilt. The front 2nd pattern RLB sunburst swaz emblem is heavily worn condition with a lot of chipping and enamel damaged. The hardwood grip in decent overall condition. Blade length approximately 8 3/4 inches. Overall length approximately 14 inches. Overall, a very heavily worn condition RLB dagger that appears to have been poorly stored for quite a while, most likely what caused all the heavy spotting on blade and corrosion to the scabbard fittings.
