U.S. Kabar 1209 Knife and Sheath. Six inch parkerized steel blade, with a simple oval steel guard, dark wood grip and blacken aluminum-alloy pommel. Black leather type sheath in good condition. Marked Kabar 1209 USA on blade ricasso. I believe this is a 1960s-1970s knife and it is believed these were available to purchase by soldiers in the local PXs. Overall, blade in good condition and a nice looking knife.
