WW2 Wade & Butcher Sheffield England Knife. Blade ricasso with the B in circle with an arrow and cross on one side and the marker mark of Wade & Butcher Sheffield England on the other side. Blade with a lot of wear, graying, and spotting. Blade has the name “Pioneer” in center of blade on one side. Handle grip as the initials “C.S.” engraved in handle and there is quite a bit of wear to the grip with a chip out of the side of the grip section. Leather sheath with snap in very worn condition with initial C.S. on sheath. The blade is approximately 4 1/2 inches in length, approximately 8 inches overall length. Worn condition.
Additional Notes: The company of Wade & Butcher, a renowned Sheffield-based cutlery manufacturer, produced military knives during WW2. These knives were known for their durability and craftsmanship, often featuring a robust blade and practical design suitable for military use.
