German 1938 2 Mark Silver Coin. On the front (obverse) side is the ww2 German eagle in the center with the wording: 2 Reichs Mark Deutsche Reich 1938. On the back (reverse) of the coin is the wording: 1847-1934 Paul Von Hindenburg. Also, has letter on edge of coin “GEMEINNUTZ GEHT VOR EIGENNUTZ” which translates to: COMMON GOOD TAKES PRECEDENCE OVER SELF-INTEREST. Worn and circulated condition.

 

Additional Notes: The 2 Reichsmark, Paul von Hindenburg, Swaz Coin design was issued between 1936-1939 until production was halted due to an inadequate supply of silver. The 2 Reichs Mark (RM) coin weighs 0.26 oz (0.16 oz silver) with 62.5% fine silver. The coin was minted in Germany during the Third Reich Era (WW2). 0.16 oz ASW.
