USMC Boxing Plaque with Papers . FLU1561

U.S. Marine Corps Boxing Plaque to Arnold Lambrecht with Papers. The paper items are several photos of him in uniform and in boxing gear and a cut out newspaper article on Private Arnold Lambrecht getting married while home on furlough (after 30 months in the South Pacific with the marines). He participated in 3 major battles in the South Pacific including Guadalcanal and boxed as welterweight behind the battle lines. Plaque approximately 11 1/2 inches in height. Plaque most likely given to him after WW2.
