US Army Combat Suspenders . FLU1801

United States Army Combat Suspenders Load Harness. This is the medium O.D. (Olive Drab) color. Contract marked, however, very faded and hard to make out, appears to be U.S. above a maker mark which is above a date. Most likely late WW2 era. Worn condition.

Additional Notes: During WW2, the US Army used standard combat suspenders (M1936 and M1944/45). These suspenders were clipped onto the WW2 web pistol belts, BAR belts, and the Garand belts to help support them when fully loaded with kit and ammunition.
