USS Georgetown Spy Ship Grouping . FLU3303

U.S.S. Georgetown (AGTR-2, Spy Ship) Grouping. Set includes two books (USS Georgetown yearbook and The Anchor US Naval Training book), papers, and three patches. Front of one book has a newspaper article taped to inner page about the Retirement of Spy Ships leaving navy with 2 spy ships and picture of ship. Throughout the one book has bookmarked picture of the sailor that the group supposedly belonged. Also, the group includes a letter from the USS Georgetown dated August of 1965 from the Port of Spain to Parents, Wives, Sons, Daughters, and Friends of the crew. There is also a large photo of the ship with official photo stamp on back from U.S. Naval Air Station, Norfolk, VA date 6-7-78. A nice 1960s era Spy Ship Grouping.
