WW2 Luftwaffe Trumpet Banner Luftkreiscommando VI . GF159

$2,400.00

WW2 German Luftwaffe Trumpet Banner Luftkreiscommando VI. Double-sided trumpet banner with bullion fringe on 3 sides. The bullion fringe is very heavily worn and missing in portions. The trumpet banner has embroidered Luftwaffe eagle with swaz on one side on yellow background (most likely for flight crew). Wording on other side: Luftkreiscommando VI. Wear and stains on banner, however, still displays decently. Size approximately 18 inches x 14 inches. This one does have some of the interior type of material with a slight glow under UV light (may have been cleaned at one point in time).

Additional Notes: The WW2 German Luftwaffe Luftkreiscommando VI was a part of the Luftwaffe’s organizational structure during WW2. It was responsible for overseeing various air force operations and support services within its designated territory. This included managing airfields, anti-aircraft defenses, and other logistical aspects crucial for the Luftwaffe’s functionality. Its jurisdiction covered areas like the Rhine-Westphalian industrial region and extended into parts of Belgium during the war.
