WW2 Japanese Good Luck Flag w/Shrine Stamp . NNJ471

$460.00

WW2 Japanese military good luck flag (hinomaru yosegaki) which was a traditional gift for Japanese soldiers deployed during military engagements, most notably during WW2. The flag is the national flag which was typically signed by friends and family with short messages and wishing the soldier victory and good luck. This flag has a nice look with many kanji (wishes of victory and good luck). Flag also has shrine stamp as well. Some staining and wear, however, decent condition considering age and would display well. Also, comes with several translations done by previous collector. Size approximately 27 inches X 20 inches. Very worn condition with some staining and corner wear.
