WW2 German Deutschland Erwache Eagle Flag Pole Top (Standartenadler) or Finale. The pole top is still showing decent silver and gold finish with nice age-patina. The pole top is engraved at the bottom of the wreath with the designer “Otto Gahr” on one side and “1923” on the other side. Extremely rare and missing from most collections. Worn condition.

Additional Notes: The “Deutschland Erwache” (Germany Awake) flag pole top or finale is a highly sought-after and prestigious piece of WW2 memorabilia. It was designed by Otto Gahr and produced by the Munich-based company Otto Gahr. The pole top is approximately 57 cm high. It is engraved with the designer’s name and the year “1923” on the wreath.
