United States Early Import 1853 Enfield made British Sword. No scabbard. Iron hilt. Checked type grip in heavily worn condition. Blade length approximately 33 1/2 inches. overall length 39 inches. Appears to be marked “N C” on iron hilt area (hard to make out). American Civil War era import. Very heavily worn condition, no scabbard.
