United States Marine Corps (USMC) Leather Flight Jacket. Flight jacket with mouton fur collar. Very heavily worn condition with many wear spots (see pictures and video). The jacket has several very unusual patches, however, they all have quite a bit of wear, however, definitely several nice very hard to find patches, including a nice, however, very heavily worn Japanese made Headquarters Squadron, Marine Air Wing One patch on the front of the jacket. USMC Name tag on front “Bob Bettis Sgt” with nice bullion EGA. Zipper very heavily worn and damaged condition (missing several zipper teeth), I would not attempt to zip this one up as the zipper is very worn condition and I do not want to damage it further, plus, with the missing teeth I know it will not zip up all the way. Conmar marked zipper. Even though not pictured, both pocket buttons are still there, just hidden under the pocket flaps in the picture. The inner neck upper contract tag is missing, however, several details written in ink in this area (appear to be: B.B. 3841 Korea 52-53 BB). Overall, very heavily worn leather jacket, as is typical with these leather jackets that were actually used, however, displays great with very interesting patches and name still on jacket so it still has further research potential as well. A nice example of a USMC flight jacket from Korea with some great patches.
