United States WW2 15th Army shoulder sleeve insignia (patch). The patch is fully embroidered with a snowy back. Most likely 1940s (WW2) era. Worn condition. The patch does not react to UV light (does not glow under blacklight).
Additional Notes: The Fifteenth United States Army, commonly known as Fifteenth Army, was a field army of the U.S. in the European Theater of WW2. It was the last United States field army to see service in northwestern Europe during the war and was commanded by General George Patton until his death in December of 1945. The Fifteenth Army served two separate missions while assigned to the area.
