US 22nd Armored Division Patch . USP1239B

United States Army 22nd Armored Division Shoulder Sleeve Insignia (Patch). The patch is fully embroidered. Most likely late 1940s-1950s era. This patch is custom done with French style “22” numbers added to the patch. The patch does not react to UV light (does not glow under blacklight). Worn condition.

Additional Notes: The US Army 22nd Armored Division was an unorganized WW2 armored division. The 22nd Armored Division was activated in 1947 in the Reserves at Dallas Texas, probably was never fully strengthen. It was redesignated as the 75th Infantry Division in early 1952.
