United States WW2 2nd Corps shoulder sleeve insignia (patch). This 2nd Corps patch has the hard-to-find color border variation with what appears to be a light blue edge. Worn condition. The patch does not react to UV light (does not glow under blacklight).
Additional Notes: The United States 2nd Corps patch with a light blue edge is quite hard to find. I have not found what the light blue edge signifies for branch. The 2nd Corps (II Corps) was a corps-sized formation of the United States Army that was active in both WW1 and WW2. It was originally formed and fought on the Western Front during WW1 and was also the first American formation of any size to see combat in North Africa or Europe during WW2.
