ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The 87th Infantry Division served in the European Theater during WW2. Campaigns included Rhineland, Ardennes-Alsace, and Central Europe. The division participated in 154 days of combat and was awarded 2 Distinguished Unit Citations. After Victory in Europe Day, the 87th returned to the States in July of 1945.
